Reefseekers Dive Centre
is based in Labuan Bajo a small fishing town hugging the hillside on the West coast of Flores and the gateway to begin your exploration of this unbelievable island of surprises, with it's World class Diving and Snorkeling , Myriads of tiny deserted islands, Volcanoes, Komodo Dragons, Flying Foxes, Megalithic sites, Caves, Sulphur pools, Waterfalls, Endless Forests, Spider web rice fields, Traditional villages, Stick fighting, Flora and Fauna like you'll see nowhere else, there is certainly something to capture everyone's interest and not forgetting the warm welcome from the local people themselves, talk to them and learn about their Culture with it's many myths and legends, your stay on Flores will be a memory that you will never want to forget and for sure it is a place you will want to return to. Getting to the Dive Sites
A leisurely journey through Komodo National parks many islands with beautiful views of deserted beaches, mountains, mangroves and sand banks. Our traditional boats have plenty of shade and also places to catch the sun, we usually leave Labuanbajo harbour around 8am then after 2-3 dives and lunch return to Labuanbajo between 4:30- 5:30 depending on the sites we have visited.
Boats are equipped with Radio, Oxygen and First aid.

What you can expect
A days diving includes 2/3 dives with a Padi Divemaster, lunch and refreshments. Taken by Traditional boat to the dive sites of your choice, after a Reef teach from your Divemaster and an orientation to the site, get ready to be amazed, your Divemaster will guide you though the endless procession of marine life awaiting you, critters spotted will be identified and logged after the dive.

What we expect.
We are here as visitors to the underwater world and expect our guests to treat the homes of all marine life the same you would treat the home of a friend, we have a strictly no touch, no take policy, if you want to capture something then please do it on film with your camera.

When to dive
We dive the whole year around, with the exception of a few days during the rainy season (Jan-Mar) where we can not get out of the harbour because of strong winds, this used to be always in February, but, over the last couple of years February has seen us with wonderful weather and diving, the weather is changing all over the world and is very hard to predict now.

Water Temperature
The temperature of the water varies from 24 to 31 degrees Celsius, but often cold upwellings can chill you, in the South upwellings can be as cold as 16 degrees from the Indian Ocean.

What to wear
Everyone feels the cold to different degrees, but we generally recommend at least 3mm full suits, we use 5mm full and often a shorty 3mm on top when it gets a little chillier.
